Replacement of old wood windows in Naperville.
My wife and I just had Illinois Energy complete another project at our house in Naperville. This was the second time we've used Illinois Energy at this house, the first being a replacement for a sliding door off our family room. Our first experience with Illinois Energy was over a dozen years ago at our previous residence in Aurora, in which they replaced all of the sub-standard builder-grade windows with high quality, energy efficient vinyl windows. Our current home is nearly 60 years old, and although the previous owner had replaced most of the windows with Gilkey windows, which are fine, we still had 4 of the original wood windows in the upstairs bedrooms, and in winter, these old windows do little to keep the elements out. As we were exceptionally happy with Illinois Energy for our past projects, we saw no need to look elsewhere. We have been more than happy with all aspects of the project, from the initial consultation, and measurement to fabrication and final installation. The windows and hardware are high quality, their prices are fair, and the installers are so professional and take pride in their work. They also kept us informed all along the way. We couldn't be happier.
