Excellent sliding door replacement
I had two sliding doors and four adjacent fixed pane windows installed by Illinois Energy Windows & Siding. These are custom sized, higher and wider than normal. I was impressed with the look of the windows, the close match of the inside and outside color, and the expertise of the installation. The workers did an outstanding job of making it all look like it was original and an outstanding job of cleaning up the work site.
Great service
When we moved into this house in 2016 we received the unfortunate news that all of our windows needed to be replaced. We took a chance on Illinois Energy Windows & Siding because of the attention to quality they put into not only manufacturing their windows but also installation. Their installation crews are very professional, respectful, and do quality work. We are very pleased with our windows and couldn't be happier with the peace of mind they bring.
New Sliding Glass Door - AMAZING

From the start, our sales rep was knowledgeable and thorough, and the warranty—especially on the installation—gave us real peace of mind. Our custom sliding glass door arrived earlier than expected, and the installation crew was professional, clean, and worked efficiently—even through less-than-ideal weather. The new door is a huge upgrade from our old one—it glides effortlessly, locks easily, and looks beautiful inside and out with flawless trim and caulking. We’re so happy we chose this local company. Excellent patio door & installation project mgmt
I had a new, custom, patio door installed from Illinois Energy Windows & Siding - July 2025. My new patio door is a great product and the company’s sales / ordering / installation process from requirements gathering, to project review and measurements to product delivery timeframe to installation (prep-install-cleanup) and final billing were one of the best renovation project management processes I’ve experienced. (and I’ve gone through several with various companies over the last two years). I was replacing an existing patio door that was 50 years old with a broken screen and a wooden base starting to rot. I paid a little more for quality, warranty & experience (than other bids I received) but with the final product along with Illinois Energy Windows and Siding’s exemplary professionalism, communication, experienced & detail-oriented installation people, I felt the price was well worth it! Their teams communicated the process from start to finish, expertly managing my expectations regarding each part of the project. The installers were experienced and very respectful of my property, well preparing the work area to contain the construction debris both inside and outside as well as doing a great cleanup job after. The new patio door is fantastic; beautifully trimmed, well insulated and with a smooth, easy, gliding (open-close)! I highly recommend Illinois Energy Windows & Siding for your home projects.
Distinctive doors and installation
My husband and I visited the IL Energy Windows and Siding showroom and were impressed by the quality appearance and functionality of the many styles of doors on display. Since that visit we purchased a new sliding door to our deck and, somewhat later, a new front entry door and sidelight. The price quoted was slightly higher than competitors on the sliding door, but, because of repeat customer discount, very reasonable on the front entry system. What sold us was the straightforward presentation by the sales representative, Derek, with no pressure and no blanket criticism of competitors products. We have endured too many sales presentations that insult our intelligence, Derek knew he had a high quality door at a fair price and conveyed that effectively. We love both the sliding and entry doors. The glass in the sliding door did not radiate the cold air during bitter winter days, as our previous door had done. The entry door is just recently installed, but the look is modern and clean-lined as we wanted and the installation was impeccable. We are proud of our choices and am grateful to all the staff at Ill Energy for their professional and personal service.
I Love My Half Moon Windows!
This is the 2nd time I have used Illinois Energy to replace my home windows. I had 2 different type of installations and could not do all at once. so they completed the last phase in June of this year. I worked with Nate who had great patience with my home owners organization in order to get their approval. The people that work for this organization took great care with my outside plantings as well as inside the house. Their method saved me hundreds of dollars because I did not have to replace window treatments or repaint the interior or exterior of my home once the new windows were installed. There was also minimal cleanup inside the home once they left. Would definitely use them again.
