Energy Efficiency
My window was installed almost 2 years ago. I have delayed writing this review because I we had many conflicts with the window installation, primarily with the screens. But the staff worked very hard to resolve the situation. My issue is that the window is just not energy efficient ... the heat from the sun just pours right thru, regardless of the time of the year. In the winter, for example, I can feel the heat from the sun on my foot when I am sitting on my couch clear across the room. Every sunny day, I have to be sure to close the curtains before the sun hits the window or the temperature quickly rises 10-15 degrees. I feel like I never enjoy the sunshine. It is a very pretty window, but I miss the sun.
