Roofing and Siding Superintendent

The Role You Will Play

· The Installation Superintendent needs to be a self-managed leader responsible for overseeing the quality of installations on Siding and Roofing jobs performed by both existing crews and new ones.

· The primary goal is to proactively manage and uphold job quality expectations, thereby reducing both short-term and long-term installation-related service issues.

· Be a fair balanced manager that can manage paperwork well, but yet have strong people skills to hold crews accountable to our standards.

· A key liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring promises of quality and service are fulfilled during and after a pre-installation meeting with clients.

· Proficiently read reports from Hover, Eagle View, or similar apps and translate the necessary information into a work order for the installation crews.

· Order the necessary materials and coordinate deliveries with scheduled installations specifically on Siding or Roofing projects.

· Create Invoices for installation teams based upon measurement reports in an accurate and timely manner.

· Be a cheerleader, motivator, and coach, fostering a positive work environment and helping team members overcome challenges.

· Setting goals, holding people accountable, and providing constructive feedback and solutions to problems.

· Manage daily operations such as checking job sites, ensuring crews have necessary materials, along with scheduling jobs and supporting production meetings.

· Assist with recruiting, hiring, and replacing installation crews, always ensuring continuity and quality.

· Work is at our office or on jobsites, Not a remote work position!

Background Profile or Requirements

• Absolutely must have at least 10 years’ experience installing siding and roofing.
• Prefer those who have 5 years of experience as Superintendent or some sort of related management position.
• Must have valid drivers license and be willing to travel around the Chicagoland Suburbs managing installations.
• Multilingual is a PLUS
• Energetic and positive mental attitude.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
